You can enable PitStop profiles in this group if you wish to use the special features that the "PitStop Professional" software offers or if you wish to use PitStop profiles that are already created. The Heidelberg preflight checks that you set in the "Document", "Pages/1ups", "Images", "Fonts", "Colors" and "Contents" tabs are sufficient for most cases you will use.
"PitStop Preflight Profile and Action Lists" group You can use a saved Qualify sequence as a template for other Qualify sequences. You can edit Heidelberg preflight profiles only with the PDF Toolbox, with the customized settings saved when you save the Qualify sequence. If required, you can customize the settings by modifying the parameters concerned in the relevant tabs. You can define preflight settings simply by selecting a profile that matches the sequence that will be used. When you import such a profile, the various parameters in the "Document", "Pages/1ups", "Images", "Fonts", "Colors" and "Contents" tabs have defaults that are saved in the profile. When you open a profile, its name and a brief description of its use display in the appropriate boxes. Heidelberg Preflight Profiles are tagged by ".hpp" as their extension. The Heidelberg profiles installed by default are filed in the "PTConfig" folder in the following path: Click "Browse." to open a dialog where you can select one of the profiles installed by default. This is where you can open the shipped Heidelberg preflight profiles or those you created yourself with the Prinect PDF Toolbox.
